Moon Sighting for Shawwal 1444 (Eid-ul-Fitr) 20th April 2023

Asslamoalikum, On the 29th of Shawal, 1444 Al-Hijra, Thursday 20th of April 2023, Rooty Hill Masjid / IAWSS will conduct moonsighting activities across Australia and liaise with neighbouring countries within the three-hour time zone. This is according to the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. 

IAWSS will confirm and inform the public about the sighting or otherwise of the moon by 10:30 pm on Thursday  20th of April 2023. The result will be announced on the Rooty Hill Masjid website, Facebook page and through SMS messages to registered mobile phones.
