Moon Sighting for Shawwal 1443 (Eid-ul-Fitr)

Asslamoalikum, On the 29th of Shawal, 1443 Al Hijra, Sunday 1^st of May 2022, Rooty Hill Masjid / IAWSS will conduct moonsighting activities across Australia and liaise with neighbouring countries within the three-hour time zone. This is according to the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. 

IAWSS will confirm and inform the public about the sighting or otherwise of the moon by 10:00pm on Sunday 1^st of May 2022. The result will be announced on IAWSS Website, Facebook page & through SMS messages to registered mobile phones.
