Month of Dhul Hijjah 1444 AH and Eid ul Adha Prayer 2023

Assalamu alaikum.

The blessed month of Dhul-Hijjah will commence on 20th June 2023.

EID ul Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, will be observed on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, which falls on 29th June 2023.

Salat-ul-Eid will be held on Thursday, 29th June 2023, at 8:15 am sharp at Rooty Hill Masjid.

Important instructions to be followed on Eid Day:

Please be mindful that Thursday is a working day, so you need to plan ahead of your schedule by 15-20 minutes.

Please note that there is no parking space available in the Masjid’s car park during the Eid-ul-Adha Prayer.

Kindly refrain from parking in the driveway of the Masjid’s neighbours.

If you plan to arrive at the Masjid after 7:15 am or if you are in the vicinity of the Masjid, please avoid bringing your car to Headcorn Street, Carew Street, or Plunket Cres. Instead, park your vehicle in the neighbouring streets and walk to the Masjid. Let’s be mindful of not causing any traffic jams for the Masjid’s neighbours. May Allah SWT reward you for your efforts.

Ensure that you park your car correctly to avoid penalties or fines from the council rangers.

We encourage carpooling and advise you to arrive early to avoid congestion.

Don’t forget to bring your prayer mats with you.

We wish you a blessed Eid-ul-Adha “Eid Mubarak to All of you” and may your prayers and efforts during this sacred time be accepted by Allah.

Waslamalikum,  Jazakallahu Khair
