Eid Al-Fitr Message from IAWSS President

On 04/06/2019

Assalmu Alaykum WRWB.

Eid Ul Fitr marks the end of the blessed and spiritual month of Ramadhan. May Allah SWT shower his choicest blessings, mercy, happiness, love and prosperity to all and infinite salutations to our beloved prophet Nabi Kareem sallahahu Alaihi wasalaam.

It is indeed a blessing from Allah SWT for giving us another opportunity to fast for 30 days , seek forgiveness and pray for our maghfirat, the practical training that we have gained during the month, Insha allah we can continue with that for the next 11 months. May Allah SWT accept all acts of ibaadah and grant us forgiveness.

Please remember in your prayers, those brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering from all sorts of calamities including those who lost their lives in the recent trajedies in Christchurch New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Please do remember their loved ones who will be feeling the tragic loss specially on the occasion of Eid Ul Fitr. Let us share their grief, anger and injustice. To see innocent people, defenceless in mosques and churches, who were there to worship in a peaceful environment and were brutally killed. An act of violence that has no place in this world. No one knows when our time is up. Let us use this tragic event to strengthen our Iman and do what Allah SWT wants us to do and follow the sunnats of our beloved prophet nabi kareem salalahu alaihi wasalam.

On behalf of IAWSS / Rooty Hill masjid Executive Council members, I would like to wish you all the very best wishes on this auspicious and joyous occasion of Eid ul Fitr. EID MUBARAK

Nasib Mohammed – President IAWSS
